My husband & I are rock climbers, and love spending time in the mountains…I painted the background colours first, and it must have sat awaiting my attention for over a year… the day that I discovered it again, I knew exactly what I wanted to create, and just went for it without even thinking. The orange pop in the upper left brought the entire work together… and the light mint-turquoise in the lower hill is so soft & a hue I haven’t been able to mix again quite like it.
