This is another piece from the Cabin Collection that portrays our adventures during the full moon ski. In order to ski up the river, you need to ski out of the backwater by the cabin to connect to the main arm of the river. When you get to this spot the river opens up to its widest point and the moon comes into full view. There is something eerily beautiful about the stillness of a winter night but the full moon creates some movement as it casts shadows seemingly causing the trees to dance and the snow to sparkle. When I look at this piece I see some expressionism and symbolism in the body of the skier (Kupu) that reminds me of the Scream by Edvard Munch. I wonder what you see?
