LORI RYAN

Originally from Blenheim, a small farming community in Southwestern Ontario, I grew up loving art, writing and photography. After completing my BA English from University of Western Ontario I worked in Japan and Germany before settling down in Calgary.  Calgary has been my home, and where I raised my family, for over 25 years. 

I feel very  fortunate that I had a career which I loved for over 20 years.  But in 2017 life pivoted ….and it gave me a chance to really focus on my passion.  I started on a journey back to my true love – art. In my continuous desire to learn and grow I just completed my Visual Design Certificate from University of Calgary, Continuing Education.

I love creating realist acrylic paintings that are vibrant and bold. From landscapes and mountain scenes to animal portraits and vintage cars, I want to produce artistic images that resonant with my clients. I hope to provide beautiful art pieces that clients will enjoy in their homes for years.
