A person with long white hair wearing sunglasses and a patterned shirt is sitting on a dark sofa in a living room. They are leaning over the armrest with their head resting on their arm. A pink rose is placed on their shoulder with petals scattered on the sofa. A colorful abstract painting hangs on the wall behind them. To the left, a large white speaker stands on the floor. To the right, a black table with a spray painted can on top is visible. There's also a black lamp with a triangular shade behind the sofa.

Blown Away Girl is a collaboration between Calgary artists Allison Dawrant and Ken Chow. This collaborative piece is an homage to the iconic 1978 Maxell ad (aka Blown Away Guy).

For the original shoot, photographer Steve Steigman was unable to find a model with long hair and used hair and makeup artist Jac Colello for the shoot. They used hair gel and wires to simulate the wind-blown effect. Fortunately Allison has long hair and we had no problem being blown away.
