AFSHAN KHAN

I am a visual artist from Alberta. It's a beautiful province with lovely landscapes which keeps me motivated. I am inspired by nature and imagination. I work with oils and acrylics. I am very much intrigued by textured work, it brings a lot of depth to a piece. 

I like abstract, Impressionism, and post impressionistic work. I am especially inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet's works.

I feel that art can bring inspiration and and a pleasant feeling to all of us, as COVID has disrupted our joy of normalcy. Colours are very therapeutic and uplifting to bring joy.
